I don't have my books handy but I don't remember seeing an answer to this question:
Last game I flew a couple of breaching pods into a Corvan. They dodged the attack after launch and then hit the close by Corvan next turn. They both weathered the anti-fighter. However since the boarding action happens after the attack phase my opponent shot up pods with a nearby Centurion. Is this kosher? After the successful attachment on the ship, which I assume is what happens in the fighter attack phase, can the pods be picked off? I remember something about the Drazi Claweagle (a big ship) could only be targetted by precise and accurate weapons.
