Brakiri Alternate Colour Schemes...

... After a small break from playing ACtA I have just assembled and undercoated a small Brakiri fleet. The only thing is.. I'm not sure I want to paint them green!

Are there any other "official" colour schemes, I know I can do what I like with them but bright orange Brakiri just somehow doesn't seem right....

I'm currently sat with paint brush in hand..

Since fleets are owned by corporations they can really be any colour, preferably themed with the corp's logo Roll on the Vodafone Kaliva!

yup, use the colour that you feel happy with, and just explain it as a corporations coloirs. mine are Light grey with blue or teal markings, and bronze engine work... you have probably seen em anyway.

You could try green, or green, or even green. Or if you're really adventurous green :wink:



Seriously, there's no set way to paint them although the green and yellow/green scheme is the "official" one from the show. The Corporations run their own fleets so any scheme could be as valid as the next. I've seen dark grey with blue markings and tan with red markings (although the latter is too close to the pak'ma'ra scheme I'd say).

Take a look at the gallery for some ideas.

hmmm, ok.. after much thought (and finding the paint that was closest to me) I've decided to go with greys and bronzish metallics... i'll post up pics (if i'm happy with them) when i'm done...

Just an observation why does the model of the Brakiri Courami Dreadnought have so many pits in the metal... surely its a new mold?

Well... i'm using the Cryx colours from the P3 paint range... so should look nice and menacing!

well if you watch the episodes featuring Brakiri ships they appear to be a light grey with yellow (I think) banding

not really sure where the green appeared from
