Babylon 5: The Lost Tales, and other B5 movies, RPG tie-ins?

Hi!

Since we are, finally, going to get a new B5 production this year (with the first Lost Tales DVD), are we going to see a matching series of books to cover the data presented?

Also, as far as I've seen, the only B5 movie which has been featured in an RPG format at all is A Call to Arms - included with the Crusade sourcebook. Could it be possible to give the likes of In the Beginning and Thirdspace a chance to shine?

(If plans are afoot to eventually re-do a Season 4 book, Thirdspace could be made to fit as an added bonus...)

Also, there is a Legend of the Rangers book too.

They were hard to make just right without punching existing canon in the face, but I think I did both books justice...and there is stuff in each one for every fan. Including a mini-scenario in both!

Neo? Care to comment, mate? (He playtested them.)

Cheers all,
Bry

Apologies for the delay in response, people have to poke me to make sure im awake at times... im getting old you know lol :P

Hmm lets see

I dont want to give too much away and you did such a good job on both Bry, but I think its safe to say that as far as Legend of the Rangers goes people are going to find a bit more detail about wehat was going on than the film revealed and of course flesh the hand and its minions out as well as their practices in glorious technicolor. Then of course more info on the Anlashok and thier practices and resources. And of course the Liandra and its crew detailed (I personally hope a floor plan of the ship is included btw but not sure if it will be)

As for Thirdspace..sci fi horror at its best :) this book covers details of the creepy Harbingers, thier technologies and methodolgies and these guys are creepy even more so than we see in the film. A real good job was made of portraying them as something almost Cthulhuesque in nightmarish depravity and lust for destruction...they are truly Anti Life, Life..bent on armageddon. The scenario in this book is particularly good also, dark and sisnister with lots of tough moral choices to make as events unfold.

both books definitely worth buying.
