Author of Players Book to Glorantha

Hello

i have read that the Glorantha book series so far is written by Robin D. Laws (Glorantha book itself), Jeff Kyer (Cult books) and Aaron Dembski-Bowden (Magic, Clanking City, Trolls), but who is the author of the "Players Guide to Glorantha"?

Cheers

I am pretty sure it is Bryan Steele (Mongoose Steele on these boards), one of the Mongoose house writers.

He wrote Rune of Chaos and Legendary Heroes I think, possibly some of the other books. To the best of my knowledge it will be his first Gloranthan work.

And it has Ducks.

Quack.

EDIT: Come to think of it I think he wrote Monsters too. I am away for the holiday and don't have my books with me.

Fordy and Greg Lynch did Monsters, I believe. The Developer credit instead of an Author one is beyond my scant knowledge of these things m'afraid.

Bry did indeed do the Player's Guide, yeah.

I did MOST of it, but Nick Robinson did ALOT of sorting and re-patching after I turned it in...

...I'm just as eager to see what might have been changed/omitted/added as you guys!!! I know my Glorantha group will be as well. :)

You are actually listed as one of the Developers for Legendary Heroes, so hopefully that gives some insight into what credit means. :)

Oh, yeah, no...I meant that it's odd that a book only has Developers, and no authors. The term must have a meaning beyond my limited experiences of it.

My core book has an author and developers, GtSA has an author and no developers, and everything else I have just has developers, no authors. It is all a mystery to me.

On a side note I didn't realize Kenneth Hite was involved with the game at all until checking the credits again.
