Attempt at Sekhmet model

Just putting finishing touches to my Scenario from LCs Dilgar novel (i'll put up for download when sorted out the map bit ) and had to create a Sekhmet to face off against a Hecate (battle level Hyperion). Tried to make it like the images I have seen but its the best I could do sadly ..........

I have the same ship. An Avalon class cruiser. I think the Avalon design fits very good to the dilgar tech "style"

like a normal Hyperion :wink: - cheating there a bit - Hopefully will be putting the scenario up in a few days........

yes it is scratchbuilt.

I have based it on the (poor & min detail) images of the Sekhamet which are on the net, from I believe an unreleased B5 computer game?

Added some minor detail to the top of the ship to make it more in line with the current Dilgar miniatures range as welll as adding more detail and guns to the underneath of the ship.

Model is virtually complete but needs to be painted, and I hope to put it up on the forum along with some other scratchbuilds I am working on, in about a month. Will attempt to paint it as Deathwalkers verson and may manage to paint up a "Nemesis" with Skull artwork to go with it.

I see the Sekhamet as being Battle Level, so I am also currently sketching up a couple of designs for a larger Dilgar ship based on the same type of look as the Sekhamet but taking it to higher threat levels.

Model scratchbuilt from styrene sheet, strip and some wire.

Middle picture depth of field is not right, sorry for that, just got a new camera and I am still learning how to use it .Finally got around to replacing 2nd photo with one in focus

Now onto painting up some Balosian ships and converting a freighter to a Q Ship. (2 versions of course, with and without weapons deployed), as well as finishing off my scratchbuilt 3rd Space Cruiser.
