Hi everybody

Don't you think that the Cohorts and Companions table in Arms and Equipment Suplemente list the diary wage very underated?

For example, a sailor gains 2 o 3 copper pieces, and most of soldiers and man-at-arms 1 silver piece per day.

Salaries listed are extremely low, if you take Rq Companion, which states that a sailor gains 8 silver pieces daily, or that the minimum cost of food and lodgind is 1 silver piece for poor people.

Is there another source for calculating the cost of recruiting hirelings and other henchmen?

Thank you

I would use the really simply living standards table in RQ and think of them as wage bands. So, average man at arms might be on 4-8 silvers per day. Without looking at the A&E stats, you could say that the figures are profits - i.e. after all their costs have been paid, this is the remaining disposable income.
