The King
Cosmic Mongoose
Did anyone give a try at heroquest beyond his gaming in Glorantha?
I mean Glorantha made me (re)discover mythology and the approach of religion.
That is understanding this not necessarily as a reenactment of godly acts but also when the mythic joins with reality because one believes in it.
For instance, In Howard's short story, Frost Giant's daughter. Conan enters the mythic realm of the Vanir (which he didn't belong to), to run after the daughter of Ymir, fighting against her brothers (the frost giants) and loosing his path in the snow.
Still at the end he can't take her, but he catch her gown.
