Apocalypse Mega-City One 2013 - April 6th

Remember that for this event you can buy extra levels for your heroes at 25 credits each. That should help fill some gaps.

Based on people who've posted on the forums to say they're coming, plus a few people I know of personally, I make it at least 17. Of course there may well be more who haven't posted anything on here.

It should be a good turnout anyway.

Some more people signed up this week, the tables are sorted, everyone's free mini is bagged up, and the trophies arrive tomorrow.

Yup, I think we are ready!

I've got an email confirmation of the order when I bought the ticket, and a "shipment confirmation", but I don't remember getting anything in the post. It's a bit late to worry about it now, but I hope there won't be a problem on Saturday morning ...

I asked the same question by email, Matt assured me that there are no physical tickets for the event but our names are on the list.

No, no issues - we have your names on a list :)

Oh, and remember to bring a spare copy of your force list, or you won't get the free mini!

We are running around today, trying to get everything ready. We have some new never-before-seen-with-paint models being put on display, a wide variety of different tables and terrain (each with their own unique scenario!), previews of two new games (just in case anyone fiinishes their games quickly), and lots more going on - should be a good day!

I've assumed that Brit-Cit and East-Meg (and any other nationality) Judge heroes can use Judge talents. If not, I can change them.

The models are painted, force lists and rules are printed, dice are packed, hotel is booked and the sun is out - we're nearly ready to go!

We're looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow. 8)

Post Tourney info

Matt, Are you planning on releasing any post tournement stats (winning roster, number of each type of gangs, etc.)

I've very curious to see how well this pans out and your results.

I am hoping to do a full report, perhaps as a PDF - depends if I have enough time to take notes and photos on the day :)

As things stand, I think we are just about ready for you all here. Just printed out all the tournament record sheets, very nearly forgot the trophies (again - had to run down the street to pick them up!), got all sorts of models up on display, tested the batteries for the Fortress Assault mission (seriously), checked and re-checked all the mission parameters to close loop holes... should be interesting!

My force list was written up on the train down. Luckily there's only three models in it. Now all I need todo is learn the rules overnight.

Don't worry they are super simple.

Also, man i'm jealous, wish I could participate in a tourney like that here (US/yank). I mean terrain that needs batteries... Have to see that.

I shall be watching for any cheating tomorrow and if I see any then the full force of Justice Department will be brought to bear!

Judge Burdis out!

Stuck at bloomin work defending Queen and Country  hope everyone has a cracking day and hopefully I can get to the next tournament.

have fun all!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to Matt (again) for organising a thoroughly enjoyable event. And thanks to everyone I played against, every game was loads of fun.
