AOD Question

In the ship stats, e.g. Colossus class Dreadnought where it has WEAPON 2xAD for A-turret 2 x 12" does this mean 2xAD for each "gun" in the turret i.e. 4xAD for A-turret, or does it mean 2xAD for the "turret"? Thanks, also using the QueenElizabeth class BB as an example, where it has 2xAD for the torpedoes this seems to contradict the explanation on P20. "TORPEDO ATTACK - ROLL A D6 FOR EACH TORPEDO THAT IS ON TARGET" I'm guesing that in this instance it should be 2xAD? Thanks, Jack.

2xAD for the turret
Yes

Torpedos rate different than guns. if your getting 2AD for guns it means there are two gun barrels in the turret, if there were 3 gun barrels in the turret its AD would be 3AD then each DD would be based off of the size of the ammo being fired such as 14" shells which gain 3 DD for each hit.
Torpedos are rated by the number on the chart if it says port/starboard 2AD it means you roll 2 dice for the attack. Dont look at the ships stats and say but it has 2,3,4 torpedo tubes in the mount because this is a formula not the exact number of torp tubes. This works similar to smaller guns which work on different formulas.
Hope this helps and not confuses you more
