Anyone play World in Conflict?

This might be more properly in off topic but its sort of vaguely similar to BF Evo in that its about modern combat and warfare so I figured it might draw more interest here

Basically World in Conflict is a new PC strategy game (I wont launch into a massive rundown of the game, suffice to say I rather like it!) and was just wondering if anyone else was playing and thus could meet up online

Highly recommended, the multiplayer game is really the main part of the game and its frankly excellent. Which isnt to say the signle player isnt great too of course!

Oh yeah, I've only played the demo, but I'll get the game sooner or later.

And it's not "modern" warfare as in BF:Evo, in fact, WiC takes place in the alternative 80's, while BF: Evo is in the near future.

You could argue that since BF:Evo is only a possible future, that is is also an alternate future.

And this alternate 80s Cold War gone Hot, as I said before, would make an excellent BFEVO mod!

Its still basically close enough timewise to come under the general heading of 'modern combat'. Most of the hardware is still pretty similar (M1s, Warrior AFVs, Cobras, Hinds and so on)

Ok so noones running around with Land Warrior systems in WiC but you know what I mean
