Any date for the arrival of Armagedon counters?

I don't think there was any plans for Armageddon counters. But there are plans for counters to go with 2e, which will include all of the ships in Armageddon, the Drakh & Dilgar books as well as new ships from 2e (Pak, Psi Corps, Gaim etc).

Will the 2e counters be made on heavier stock like the Federation Commander/Starfleet Battles counters, or the same thin stock as the counters in the current edition boxed sets?

Thanks for the info.

i hate the VaS counters, the ACTA ones currently out are much better IMO. plus you dont have to break up half the counters just to get to the one you want in the middle.

Just buy the ships they look better.

What if you can't afford to?
Should people be excluded from playing ACTA because of their financial situation?

Let's not get into socioeconomic debates here. The point kosh was making was that the models look a hell of a lot better than little pieces of cardboard. Though I would not have a serious problem playing against someone using counters, I think that we can all agree which method is preferable. As for release dates, I think that most people will agree that mongoose should be focusing on models and rules, not low marketability stopgaps that won't realy help them stay in buisness.

The ACTA/SFOS release included counters, this got me into the game initially.
The thought of being able to play with nearly all the ships straight out of the box was the hook that caught this fish.
Then i went onto spend lots of $$$$ (6 fleetboxes and various other ships!).
I think the counters (not the most profitable of things) can gain you more gamers!
Who will then spend lots more on the models (at least thats what happened in my case) :D

Have to side with the counter enthusiasts, they let you try out things and play around. It keeps the variety in the game while you wait for cash to catch up.

How often do gamers get to have their cake and eat it too? The minis make the game for me, capturing the images I loved from the TV series.

The card counters let me try new ships & experiment:

"Hm, I'll try ISA...<plays a game>...Yeah, I'll pass on ISA."

I'm now commited to gutting ISA whenever possible.

But the card is thicker, that's the main point.

Can i have an official acknowledgement that a Counters Set is being produced for 2E?
If Yes, will this counter set upgrade SFOS/Arma and beyond to 2e? (Drakh,Pak,Dilgar,Gaim?).

Can we have a cheap Stellar Debris counter set?
(This would also sell for BFG/Full Thrust gamers i bet).

Hi guys,

The only real question is whether it will be out at the same time as the 2e books. We will keep the current counter pack in production, and add a second to cover all the other ships.

so are there counters with the book? i didnt realise that, i thought that you just had to ge some models, but i cant find anywhere that does models that are anywhere near the right scale. (ive only got airfix ships - slightly too big) Anywhere you can get counters for battlefield evo?

i doesnt seem thicker, in fact my ACTA counters are far more survivable than the crappy VaS ones. and look better too due to not having perforations marks all the way down every edge.

I must admit, I don't know much about the VaS counterset, but the counters we have here for ACtA so far, given that this is a mini's game are really, really nice.

I didn't expect new counters (non-1e) with 2e. Double bonus!
