Another question regaurding entering from hyperspace

Ok After reading through the rule book for the 4th or 5th time I came across something I may have been doing wrong so thought I would ask. Entering to realspace from hyperspace I understand how to do that, the question come in with Jump Engines and Advanced Jump Engines.

When a Ship enters from hyperspace it says they cannot fire unless you have a ship with scout trait on the table. But under Advanced Jump Engines it says a ship with AJE can act normally when it enters the field. Now I assumed this ment I can fire on the turn I come onto the table even without a scout. But after rereading Im not entirly sure. I was just looking for confrimation I have been playing correctly all along.
