Another Question about huge hangers in a tournament.

Question 1: Do the Ships being carried within huge hanger have to stay the same game to game or can you choose say 4 light raiders in game one and 4 heavy raiders in game 2?

Question 2: second question do you have to tell your opponent before the game begins what’s being carried in the huge hangers? If so at what stage? Before dice are rolled for deployments, after setup?

If you're talking about the "Battle on the Rim Tourney" Here's how I'd answer these questions...

1) Accoding to the Tourney rules you must have atleast 2 copies of your entire fleet and one of which you must hand over at registration. I believe this is to prevent people from "Switching out" during a tourney, or min/maxing their fleet as each scenario is played. So I would rule that you would have to have EVERY point accounted for, including the ships being carried by your HH (since I would also rule that the ships being carried in yor HH must abide by the Max 8 ships Rule).

2) I think that both players should be allowed to look over their opponent's fleet list prior to, or during the game. So to answer this question, "Any time they ask for it". And With #1 in place, you opponent shouldn't need to worry about you attempting to slip in any different ships during the tournament.

"So I would rule that you would have to have EVERY point accounted for" though the ships carried in the huge hangers don't count for points just like fighters. So does that mean that all players that have options for fighters MUST list there fighters? For instance An Eu crusade ship that could have 4 diffrent kinds of Starfuries has to list exactly witch starfurrys he has and not change them between games. Stuck with thunderbolts or Aurora ect.?

Nothing personal, but rules or not, anyone that I found switching out parts of their fleet for any reason between rounds, unless that was actually the format of the tournament, would get a resounding 0 score for sportsmanship from me, if sportsmanship played any part in the tournament scoring. Yes, that includes fighters.

Yes, I believe that is the intent. If you look over the Battle on the Rim results you'll see that the people who listed the fleets they took included their fighter choices.

Generally fighters, carried ships and missile variants should be the same between rounds, and should be declared in your fleet list.

Yes Dennis, I would require that Every model placed upon the table be accounted for on the fleet list that was handed in at the beginning of the tournament. this may cause a little extra paperwork on the player's end, but the lack of worry from my players is definatly worth it.
