Ancient Mispack

I got around to opening a Tanker Bug I bought AGES ago.

Lo and behold, one of the 'big' claw feet is missing off the sprue!

Anyone else had sprue problems, or is it just me?

Don't bugs regenerate body parts? :P

I've never had pieces missing off a sprue, though I have had sprues missing, but that's something completely different. Poor PAMI squad didn't have any special weapon options :( As always, Mongoose was quick to fix though.

I should probably check the numerous unopened boxes I have...

Yea, I shall PM later. I've rang my LGS who I got it from, and they have no more in stock!

Grrrrr . . . .

Is there a chance that you have a King Tanker model? If you did, you'd have spare feet left over from the plastic that is not used . Also, if anyone from the forums had those spare parts and wasn't going to use them that might be of help also. As for my spares from my King Tanker, I of course used them up making my "emerging" regular Tanker model.

What, that I had already used up all of my plastic Tanker feet?

He, He, He . . . . .

Now you have me feeling guilty that I figured out a use for them.

If no one here on the forums has a spare, you might just try customer service and see what they can do for you. :)

EDIT: Hold the phone, you only need a single foot, right? My kit-bash only used two feet, so somewhere I should have two extra. Thinking (er, typing) out loud here, you are in the UK and I'm across the pond. A bit too much for shipping, I'd gather. :( Therefore, go with contacting MGP or someone close to you that has spare plastic feet. Drat, and to think that somewhere here in my mess I have two extras.

I never had sprue problems, just packaging problems with metal figures (Cougar torsos in a Grizzly pack and the like).

Sprued will be the new term for explaining mispacks.

I'm sure that Ted Chang will see the humor in that, but he'll only let out a chuckle after he has twisted your arm out of it's socket...
