Psion suddenly gets a whole new lease of life through Agent.

Apart from the Psion Agent having a whole new playground, the Dedicated Psion Agency and the Underground Psion Network suddenly get the chance to play in the Agents' sandpit as well, with the Trust and Cover and Networks ratings.

Yep, those two together really do suggest a setting all of their own, don't they?

Sort of like Heroes set 50 or 100 years hence (but without the irritating plotting and all the 'bad dads').

There are a few SF settings, such as Agents of Vega, where the eponymous law enforcement agency virtually requires that its members possess some degree of telepathy.

Then there are the Tales of Gil The ARM from Niven's Known Space setting ...
