Age of Conan: Marauders Young Adult

Even if I acted as advocatus diaboli, I'd be very interested in a few words about books 2 & 3... Has someone already read it / them?

Hello René! Glad you were able to find something useful with Book 1 - that's cool! :D

I've read Book 2 - Winds of the Wild Sea and enjoyed it. The story moves along nicely but if you did not enjoy the interaction between Alanya, her brother and Kral you may not enjoy this book any more than the first one. I like that they are a fast read and do not take forever to finish - forces the author to move the plot along quick which he does.

I think this will shed a new (definitive?) light on the quality of the author:

vol. 1 p.99n., the Pictish hero Kral is thinking:

"The Aquilonians probably thought him a savage who wouldn't understand such fine distinctions. The truth was, the distinction was important to Picts, who beleieved that sending enemies to the lands of the dead in the course of battle was one of the most noble things they could ever hope to do. But killing someone by stealth, without a fair fight - that was the work of an assassin, not a warrior. He was glad that his victim had at least tried to fight back."

Well, nothing more nedds to be said...

Seems he wastes words. He was glad? Such a mild mannered boy. He could have just said, "At least his victim attempted to fight back." I'm sure everyone was glad; I'm glad, are you glad?
