advice re EA Fleet Box

HI all,

Im just about ready to start getting my EA third age fleet together and just wanted some advice.

1)do i get the new fleet box direct from mongoose that has the four olympus or try and get the old one from ebay that comes with a warlock?

2)how long does it usualy take for mongoose to deliver items as they want £8 P@P for a fleet box.

I'd vote for option one. No warlock, but the Olympuses in the new box are the new FA scale ones instead of the old larger ones, which Mongoose isn't selling anymore.

Yeah, I don't like the big Olympuses (Olympi?). I would go for the new box...assuming it actually does contain the small ones

Yeah I unknowingly bought some old Olympus' and man.. way to big for what they are. Once I get some of the newer smaller ones the old are junk.

Just to clarify, the new Olympi aren't FA scale, they are completely new sculpts IIRC that are somewhere between the old ones and FA scale ones in saize.

I'm still waiting for the great Thunderbolt stockmarket value to crash once LBH gets painting and releases a load onto the tables...suffiece to say I'm not holding my breath

thing is will the table split in 2 with the wieght of the t'bolts

Special LBH fleet rule for Thunderbolts:

IF all LBH's Thunderbolt miniatures are painted and assembled and deployed on one gaming table at the same time, the table instantly collases under the weight of the miniatures. All ships on the table instantly suffer 20 AD Beam, Precise, Quad Damage attack. This attack cannot be negated by the Stealth, Interceptor or Dodge traits :lol:
