Adopting firearms or rapid fire weapons for Dragon Warriors

I'm planning to a Ralph Bakshi Wizards's campaign.

Anyone think the Dragon Warriors system is great for firearms or rapid fire weapons?

Luger 9mm: Can fire twice per attack. Second round is rolled at +1. +2 if shot at a second target. 1d6 damage per round.

Schmeisser 9mm: Can fire 6 rounds per attack. However. Incremental +1 for every round above the first(eg. +1 for 2nd, +2 for the third etc.). Above this is added a +1 extra to the die roll for every shift of target. Damage 1d6 per round.

Mauser 7.92 rifle: Can fire 1 round per attack. 1d10 damage per attack.

Maxim Machinegun 7.92 machinegun: can fire 10 rounds in an attack.

With weapons like that you'd have a lot of dead PC's very quickly! My advice is to stick with fantasy for DW and adopt another modern set of rules for firearms in a campaign. Warhammer 40K Dark Heresy works extremely well as does the new World of darkness.

Moderm weapons rely of modern body armour to counter them. Bullets would go through medieval armour like a hot knife through butter, realistic, but not much fun for your players!
