Day three was just some demos of ACTASF and a special request demo of Federation Commander.
Merl DeWitt graciously showed Robert Stusse the FC ropes, while I did my usual thing...
Demos, answer questions, and generally talk up ACTASF.
During the two demo sessions scheduled (Friday afternoon and Sunday morning), I ran a total of 14 people through a brief (30-40 minute) game with 2 Fed heavy cruisers versus 2 Klingon D7s.
Most of the demos were actually two people playing against each other, but a couple of them were me versus a demo person.
More that a few of them asked where the game could be found and were their any players in their areas.
The best demo occurred on Friday afternoon.
Robert Stusse (lincolnlog on the forum) came down from St. Louis for the game. Well, the first two guys to come up and inquire about demos had already bought the game and some minis, but hadn't had a chance to play. As we were chatting - I found out they were from the St. Louis area - so I immediately introduced them to Robert - who immediately took them under his wing and proceeded to explain the game mechanics and where they played in St. Louis, and when they played.
