The Narn (treasure) fleet is to big to carry in one case and more than one case I don´t may take with me at the aircraft.
Why not just take the ships you will be using out of the case?

3 of this 4 cases are full off with Narn ships.

In all are 2-3 decks like this:

All ships got there own place they will fit in. I may load 2-3 of this decks in one case but this is in no way a fleet - only a accumulation of ships.

Shadows and ISA are all in one case

So er, why not just take the ships you will be using out of the case? Put them in a smaller box for transport.

I don´t want to glude all thier bases new before I can start to play  Safe transport is the key!
Think ISA will work good to. There are only some Liga and EA Allied to build and paint unless the 20.2. and then we come... :D

Hey, is this still open? I do not have any cool miniatures, but I do have counters. Might have to see if I can find some cheap Dilgar on ebay.

always a chance someone could lend you the requisite ships, several of the players attending own multiple fleets.

the more the merrier - likely to ahve a few people who can't make it on the day anyway.

Ships - can lend most fleets but don't have "official" Dilgar ships

...its ALMOST like I want to buy a planeticket to england to play with you guys, hehe! I hope you will have a great turnament! :-)

Merry christmas from Sweden! :-)

mm, anything in particular stopping you? apart from the distance I mean lol.
cheap flight into stansted, and a shared hirecar with G'Quan :-)

Well, it would be fun to play, and you are right, planetickets are not very expensive nowadays. I will have to think about it, prehaps it will be possible. You can only hope right? :-)
How do you go about bringing minis on a plane by the way? Are there any problems bringing them?

depends if they are shaped and painted like cocaine bags. . . ;-)

You sound as if you have some associated expertise there Hiff. ?

Course, it would then be an easy mistake to have an inhaled, pewter G'Quan stuck up your nose.

not models, but i remember taking a small plastic bag of washing powder with me when i went to Egypt, in hindsight, I think i had a lucky escape.
and alas I have no G'Quans to inhale anyway. Rongoths all the way!

I've travelled internationally to play ACTA before

If you check your bag into the cargo hold then any minis are fine in it... just pack them well in lots of foam/bubblewrap so the baggage monkeys don't smash them to pieces. If you're not checking any baggage (Ryanair charge excessive amounts for this!) then I guess it depends on the type of mini. You can always borrow some or use counters. :)

Fleets and races may be different for each game - just declare at the start of the tourney (and give a list to me).
Likely VP system is the one from Wallsal boys.
Only Official ship stats - proxy ships are permissable but make sure oppoents fully aware of what they are at the start. I have a "large" collection of ships let me know if you want to borrow anything.
Counters are permissible - again make sure opponent knows what they represent.

Hi again!

Looks like ryanair have a flight from sweden to Stansted airport feb 20 2010. It will land 11.35. How long will it take to get to Aldershot by car do you think? Is it possible for me to arrive in time to play or do I have to look for a earlier flight?

/orphan

well, if you go to aldershot, their ain't no tourney on there anyway lol!

to get to northants would be 90 mins to 2 hours i reckon.
