I know that I can change from Mission to Mission, but my space for the flight is as limited as yours ;)
But when I have to chose from EA (Early & 3rd), PSI, Drazi and Dilgar I´m not certain what to take. But Drazi/PSI are very Intressting choice of yours, wheres the spy who dropped that information :D

Okay Da Boss,

Please can you sign me up for this, I would hate to disappoint and not allow you the privelege of beating me again.

Can I assume details and a tourney pack will be issued soon?

Kind Regards and a Happy New Year to all! :P

Fleets and races may be different for each game - just declare at the start of the tourney (and give a list to me).
Likely VP system is the one from Wallsal boys.
Only official ship stats - proxy ships are permissable but make sure oppoents fully aware of what they are at the start. I have a "large" collection of ships let me know if you want to borrow anything.

Looking forward to it :D

^Ok, why not. If there in Kettering is a good Pizzashop or some else?
I will come to england with only my Fleet and a toothbrush
And presumably some clothes. :D

and have to fill the time between tournament and the flight back next morning with some thing.
I also need to stay Saturday night, as there are no trains back to Edinburgh unless I want to leave early and miss the big game. Depending on where you're staying, I may be able to join you - maybe a final Sunday morning battle...

Borrow some League ships?, may be I take this chance, but in first line I will fight with my brand new ISA and thier Allies. Hope the last lack of ordered ships from US come in at the next days.
I should have a couple each of Xorrs, Xills, Sunhawks and Warbirds available.

Sunday morning we are on the way back at 7:10h.
We will bing you to Kettering and eat some thing there thats ok. Afer this we drive back to Stansted Airport and check in at a Hotel. I don´t want to drive in the mornig the way back at Feb on may be snowed streets.

I got a question. What excatctly is Triggys Beam System. Is it one of the Options in P&P (A or B possible, not C cause that would be Burgers System) ?

Serched the forum and got no satisfing result. Maybe I put the wrong quote ?

So pleas enlight me, for I´m not a frequent reader in that forum here. thx

yes it is in P+P :D

I can't recall which one but it goes as follows

1-2 miss
3-4 hit
5-6 hit and roll again

It reduces the chances of a total miss or a run away roll and brings it closer to the balance point of beams getting roughtly 1 hit per AD.

:)

Wednesday night my Centauri opponent had a Corvan roll 7 hits from it's 2 dice beam against a Frazi Flight! It was it's only shot.

We have played Burgers Beam system for awhile and just switched to Triggys and we like it better, no offense Burger.

None taken, I prefer Triggy's too! "Mine" does very strange things to low AD beams such as White Stars.

does your other wrist work? no problem then :-)

seriously though, hope it mends quickly, horrible thing having a cast weighing your arm down, i kept hitting the missus in my sleep every time i turned over!

It is my right wrist that is broken and i'm right handed. I'm pretty clumsy with my left hand. I'm due back to hospital to haveit looked at on feb 18th, but my wrist is full of metalwork.

May have to use counters, and/or select fleets with just a few ships for ease of play.

don't worry Greg - we will sort something in - even if I have to pay some girls to move your ships for you - WWII style - and don't think I won't!
