ActA tournament at Gaelcon

Hey all, Gaelcon, the premiere Irish gaming convention is on the last weekend in October, and for the third year running, we're planning an ActA tournament. Now it went very well the first year, but last year had only two people show up.

We want to make sure the tournament is a success this year, and when a few of the Dublin players went up to Q-Con, people said they'd come down if the event wasn't just the standard 5-point raid setup.

So, I give it to you: Are you coming to Gaelcon? Will you play ActA? What do you want to see from the event?

Bear in mind any changes in Powers and Principalities will only be used if it's on sale by the end of september, to allow players enough time to get their hands on it.

Hey Lorcan,

Looks like I will be heading over to Gaelcon againn this year. It would be great to place some ACTA over the weekend!

Anyone else going???

Anyone?....anyone?.....bueller?

I was one of the two guys that entered last year!

There's nothing on the Gaelcon website about an ACTA tournament, so we all assumed that it wasn't happening this year.

I doubt we will be going anyway, as it has gotten very expensive and the queues last year took ages to disappear. The guys I was with missed the first session because they were queueing.

I know Black Omega (Simon) is going to the con, and thePirv and I may make an appearance to play a few games, altho its unlikely that we'll be staying.

Damn, I've barely been around the forum in recent weeks and missed the thread getting replies! To clarify, there will be some sort of ActA gaming on the Monday - so queues won't be a problem. If there's enough people we'll run a tournament, otherwise it'll be pickup games of some description.
