I have a question about ships that have multiple drone weapon systems, such as the Kzinti DND.
Say it's attacking with 18 drones on one target. Does the target's ADDs roll 18 dice, and any '1's reduce the ADD by one, or do you break the drones down into 6 dice increments and roll 6 dice with any ones reducing ADD by one, then roll 6 more, then 6 more?
The point being if you roll 18 dice in one big batch (all drones on the launching ship are combined into one large 18-dice volley), no matter how many '1's you roll, the ADD rating can only go down by one. But if you go with option 2, since the drones are in lumps of 6 dice because the drones are 3 drone weapon systems, each firing 6 drones you can reduce the ADD rating by up to 3.
So how should we be handling this?
