ACTA on FaceBook

So... everything has a Facebook group. Everything.

I figured that given our new hope, fresh models being produced, a new update to the game, we might also think about outreach, and bringing on more new White Sta.... I mean Babylon 5 fans to the game.

I have created a FaceBook page for ACTA, and I'll happily turn that over to the PTB if so desired, but I figured we could join, and start telling our friends about it through that FaceBook viral marketing tool.

Post pics, say hi, whatever, I just thought it might help get the word out that ACTA isn't going anywhere, and as an invite for others to come check it out.

Thank you to those who have joined, got a good dozen on there so far.

I don't know, I'll look around and see what others do as far as updates, and see if maybe we can post news in there or something.

We'll do something, if it turns even one person onto the game, then hey, it was worth it right? Unless they play Centauri, or say mean things about the White Star.

Crap.

What have I done?

I never went on it. And I got annoyed with spaz's sending me online messages and then getting the mard on with me because i didn't see the message for about 2 months. When I know them in real life and they could just pick up the phone and text me.

Facebook isn't like that. You can only be contacted by people you've added as friends yourself. It's really no use for making online friends, but quite handy for keeping track of real people you might know.

Join it, you lazy teep swine!

I joined and could not see the point of it - also you do get annoying messages about superwalls and such like - again I am obviously way too old as could not see the point of most of it all.

Plus the only thing i really did anything with was the movie quiz and that crashes almost every other question.

Have not been on my page for about 3 months :)

Actually it's for people to add you as friends who then go on never to talk to you.

Oh look I've got loads of friends...

But how many do you actually talk to?

Erm...

You actually saying you want to be annoyed by me more?

I dunno, I typically purge my lists often.

"Hey lets add some friends from the ACTA forums!"

in three months....

"Who the crap is this?" *delete*

Its a cycle =)

The best thing about Facebook is the online Risk game, which is an application called ATTACK!

I joined, might find some new players in the West Yorkshire area, which would be a good thing.
