ACTA Farewell Tourneys

As we know that our beloved game is for the Mongoose Chop in the near future. Why not get organising a "Farewell to ACTA (Official) Tourneys"?

There are a few cluster of groups out in ACTA land. Mongoose, Sentient Rabbits, Greg's Crew, Walsall group etc. Why not each one of these groups (and any others) each try and organise a little farewell fun non competition tourney.

This is a good question. I've been wondering if there's demand for a King of the Jumpgate V tournament at Kublacon (Memorial day weekend, SF bay area) this year. I've run out of prize medals supplied by MGP so I'd either need to come up with something else or see if I can get more.

I'd certainally be interested, Chern! I know of at least one guy who'd also be interested, and two or three others that I'm not sure would be able to make Kublacon.

Funny i was going to post a question in the next week or so to ask if people would still be interested in B5 acta tourneys now that the game's for the chop.
We at the Warlords of Walsall club were going to host another tourney around June time, but with the current situation i was wondering if it was worth it.
Especialy as i'm the one who would have to write/organise it, i don't want to waste my time creating something thats never gouing to see the light of day.

Well Funbeast, I think that I can speak for all of "Greg's Crew" when I say that you'd get all of us participating... the last tourney was excellent (I know I won, but that's not the reason why... well, not the main reason anyway :wink: )
I know Neil (TGT) and some of the other Sentient Rabbit guys would definitely be interested also, as everyone that I spoke to about the last tourney had nothing but high praise for the event, both organisation and the Warlords in general (except Richard obviously... the nazi :lol: )
Go on young fella, give us a grand send off...

Walsall is just about in range although the last week of May and the first week of June I'll be honeymooning in St. Lucia :lol:

Cool Funbeast 8) agreeing with KennyBoy I can see support from "Greg's Crew" for the tourney. In fact I can see Greg's Crew supporting a lot of the Tourneys proposed now and in the future.
