So... as far as I can tell there is nothing stopping escorts giving the Anti-Fighter Trait to fighters...
A fighter is a ship unles stated otherwise... The escort gives its anti-fighter trait to ships with 8". There is already a president for fighters having anti-fighter as Vorlon fighters have AF1. So it would not seem out of place for other fighters to have it as well through the escort rules.
