ACTA - E-M war units in normal fleet lists

Okay, another one looking for an official answer. The FAQ in the back of Armageddon goes over the Minbari, Narn, Centauri and EA variants from the E-M period, however they're not included in their relevant fleet lists.

Can the Ingata, Moutshin, Sinclair's Alpha Flight, General Lefcourt, Dusk Coutari etc. be included in Tournament games, or are they solely for use in E-M Scenarios and campaigns?

Thanks, LBH - still waiting for an official answer. They are all given in-service-dates, and the Alpha Flights' seems to span a period before and after the E-M war, whereas Lefcourt's is open ended (covers all 3 EA periods).

This gave me the impression they were supposed to cover more than the war.

well I'd say they certainly aren't intended for tournament play, though you could ask the organiser in advance if he/she minds you using them. For informal games it's really down to group consensus - though I'd personally tend towards sorely limiting the use of all the Prototype ships.

Cheers, Matt - but since these ships are included in armageddon, does that mean that whenever (as with masters of war) it says: pick fleets from armageddon etc. etc. does this include all ships in armageddon, or all except those in the FAQ?

Or, in order to use any of these ships do the tournament rules need to say: you may use ships from the Earth-Minbari War supplement?

I would go with the latter but, as I say, it will always be down to the tournament organiser.

On a side note Matthew, do the EM war lists that formerly refgerred to SFOS stats, now use the EA Early years stats?

Given that they're listed in Armageddeon because they were accidentall left out of the E-M war book, I'd say they're an exception.
