ACTA 2ed Book problem

I bought my 2nd Ed books last september as I cannot wait to test this new version.
Since then, the 2 books (rules and fleet) have begun falling to pieces so that now I much have a bunch of flying papers rather than books.
I heard that this was a problem with th first printed books that now has been corrected and also that Mongoose was willing to exchange these low quality books for normal ones.
So my questions are:
1°) Is this true?
2°) if yes, how do I have to proceed to officially ask for swap?

Any help on this will be wellcomed

I have the same problem, except that i got my books about 2 weeks ago... And the pages of the Abbai are already falling out of the Book.

I have this problem as well but its only my rule book and not my armylist book thats starting to fall apart, I feel even just reading it is destorying it. :shock:

Same problem for me with the fleet list i open it nd the second i turn to like the middle the edges start to tear, none of the pages have come out yet but most are hanging on by a thread

allegedly only the first print run had this issue, but who knows.
Take it back to the shop, and get an exchange, they can then deal with returning it to mongoose for you. They can argue, but they sold goods not fit for purpose, and under comsumer law, they owe you a refund or exchange.
of course you could contact mongoose direct on the sales@mongoose mail and do it that way.

However, don't be too hasty, it could be a blessing in disguise. Take all the pages out and place them in a nice ring binder or comb binding, better than the books that way anyhow
