ACTA 2E Questions: Wy did (X) change?

The victory and Defeat criteria actually changed for Assassination:

Victory and Defeat: This scenario uses Victory Points in order to determine who wins. However, the attacker will earn +10 bonus Victory Points if he destroys his target ship. If the target ship is still on the table at the end of the game and not Stricken, the defender receives +10 bonus Victory Points.

It's on page 43 in the new book.

OK my page 43 has the chart for when you've boarded a Ship and can cause crew loss and criticals. My question relates to Space Stations which have no crew and don't suffer crriticals.

Thus making it worthwhile to take large ships in Assassination missions - they are much more survivable and only give away the same VPs as a lower PL Assassination target.

Not true... ONE large ship is more survivable than ONE small ship, yes! But we all know by now, that 1 War ship is much less survivable than 10 Skirmish.

Yeah but you'd only need to kill one Skirmish PL ship to get the Assassination points if that's the highest PL ship your opponent took.
