ACTA 2e - Questions regarding Fighters

I have two big questions about fighters:

1. Can they now benefit from the re-roll on failed AD granted by a Scout. I see nothing prohibiting it unlike last edition.

2. Page states "in effect, all of your flights act as a single ship in the Attack Phase, with each flight being one weapon system." How does this effect fighters with more than one weapon system? Doesn't make that huge of a difference UNTIL you consider things like Adaptive Armor and Gravitic Energy Grid.

Which leads us to:
3. Assuming that the answer to question #1 is yes, would two weapon systems mounted on one fighter BOTH benefit from the re-roll granted by a Scout, as each flight is considered one weapon system...

I'm not an official rep - but I would say that each weapon system would count independently. As for if they gain the Scout re-targeting rolls, I would believe yes, but it would probably be more fruitful to benefit a capital ship weapon system since IIRC 2E requires one scout per weapon system per target.

1) Yes, since fighters now count as ships, they can benefit from Redirect Fire.

2) I think that sentence is just for simplification of the firing sequence. Treat each weapon on each flight as a seaparate weapons system for the actual firing. So each fighter can have one weapons system benefit from the Redirect, and each weapon will be halved for AA and GEG.

3) See (2) :)
