A (probably too) late comment on the HG 2e playtest

I was looking at the different types of accomodations and the different life support costs (which are currently stated as "per ton") and I can't help but feel like the costs were actually intended to be "per unit".

Otherwise, it seems like it would be much easier (and have the intended effect for probably everything but the brig) to have a blanket "per ton" life support cost for all types of accommodations, since all the others change up the number of tons per person, so the life support costs would already be changing.

Or a cost "per person" using the accommodation, maybe?

I think someone else commented about this recently, but I can't find the thread.
 
Think of it as paying more expensive rent for the same square feet of living space. That's all. Then there is the fact that prices are going to be different with every ship's locale. See price of gasoline for each city block.
