5 point raid Kreigmarine

I've not got the book but using the s&p issue 30 I've come up with the following:

Raid Class...

Graf-spee
Scheer
Lutzow

Battle Class....

Gneisennau

I'm looking to get the models from Navwar at 1/3000 scale and the cost of the fleet is a credit card crippling £6.50, I've probley got that rolling around in my glove compartment in my car!!! :lol:

Now the question is chaps & ladies is the above any good, or total pants!

Dude, your total pants is something I have no interest in. :lol:

You have a 5 point Raid fleet. 3 Deutschland-class pocket battleships (Raid) and 1 Scharnhorst battlecruiser (Battle). Good ships,all. The Germans have some great Raid-level ships and the BC is a very solid ship. Just those 2 classes alone makes me want to play the KM.

I'd want a couple of destroyers, myself, but it's certainly a competent fleet so long as the enemy has no subs.

ok, with regards to the destroyers why would that make such a differance if fighting against subs?

bearing in mind I know nothing about naval warfare!

also can you take u-boats in a normal fleet or would that be a seperate list for the atlantic hunting packs?

and my pants well you don't really want to know!! :shock:

Destroyers have depth charges. The only way to hit submerged subs.

You can mix subs into a fleet any way you want.
 
with regards to the destroyers what priority level are these, as I'm looking to get a Navwar order in before xmas so that I have something to do with all the time off that my boss has granted me!

Just had a butch at the destroyers and there's a lot of choice! does it make any differance what you pick?
