Not that I expect many people to comment - the public line seems to be to ignore people that actually care about the game enough to do something about it, yet complain when they do.

as said above - always good to see these great projects Very nice looking ship coming along there, Tenacious B. What overall size is it?
Tried to keep mine to 20mm long in line with just less than half a white Star.
Looking forward to seeing your completed model.
May have to go for a sculpted version myself for the fighter variant, on my scale, probably in the range 5 to 10 mm long.
On my own frigate version, made another 2 over the weekend and spent a lot of time getting the different aspects of the paint job to look right, (bit more complex than I expected). Finalised the scheme and then painted up the first one.
I then decided to go overboard and make a few more frigates before posting the pics, aiming for 6 in total plus one in pieces for a potential later build article.
I will post a few pics, with whatever number are completed & painted around the end of this week.

[In my first post in this thread I asked the question; "if my sanity holds out?" Bearing in mind the time of year lets re-vist that Sanity Clause;
(Read the following in your deepest, and cheesiest voice);
Recently, in the darkest, wretched, reaches of the accursed dimension that Humans have come to know as "Third Space", barely audible whispers have floated across the sensory organs of the evil, eldritch powers who rule there.
Those whispers tell tales of a legendary ship ................... a super ship................. a veritible behemoth of the stars.
Nervously they dismissed these as rumours, lies, exaggerations or as mere nursery stories to frighten the younglings and the weak......................................
They were wrong ............................
So very very wrong..........................

And on finally coming face to face with this wonderous ship they have, for the first time in aeons, been immobilised by fear, a living fear which has scurried to make a home in the very core of their black, circulatory fluid pumping organs.
The seldom witnessed 3rd Fleet "Mooning Manoeuvre"
In next weeks exiting episode - "Third Space meet the ISA"
Be thrilled as our intrepid ISA heroes battle to the last, in scenes such as;

Captain Whiteflag - "Helmsman does that big round ship have a pointy stick thats longer than ours?"
Helmsman - "I think so sir"
Captain - "We are going to need a hand here"
Helmsman - "Sorry sir, they're not here unitll the next series"
Captain - "In that case, thank Valen for G'Kar's new ISA tactics manual.
Time to implement the "Live for the One" manoeuvre. Helmsman reverse course & speed and for Valan'e sake, get those jump engines on line.

In related news - The "Springheel Jack" seen here in recent weapon upgrade proving trials;
Weapons pundits across the universe describe the new weapons system as certainly better than the superceded, pointy stick, but whether it is better than the green beam of righteous, burny death, the jury is still out.
Final 4 points;
(1) I guess we know how the sanity question turned out. .......(You know, at the end of the day, I guess there just aint no Sanity Clause).
(2) See what happens when you have just bought a new "Pulp" ruleset.
(3) If Burger can have his Goldstar, (by the way what is the Anlashok's punishment for sacrilege), then the Supersaggi aint so bad.
(4) Happy Holiday season to all.

Thanks Burger, maybe some rivals for your Goldstar and PepsiCo Marathon, (sounds like a sporting event).
The Knifefighter nearly never appeared - Fabricated, sculpted and painted a knife over a couple of days, went to stick it on the ship and it was gone, still haven't found it.
So last night rushing around, searching my stocks of unmaid minis, - Inquisitior bits, too big, Orks just too garish finally found a bag of sprues of the first ever plastic 28mm space marines. Fortunately in those days they came with a normal looking knife.
In the eyes of many I probably committed some of my own sacrilege there.
The Knifefighter nearly never appeared - Fabricated, sculpted and painted a knife over a couple of days, went to stick it on the ship and it was gone, still haven't found it.

Afraid I don't know, but fingers crossed.
In the meantime, and as my final 3rd Space modelling project, I am having a go at making a fighter sized version of the frigate.
The frigates are 20mm long, the fighter sized version will be 10mm long. Really the same build process as the frigate, just even more fiddly.
I also managed to source some 0.2mm wire so will try adding some tendrils to the frigates.
Afraid I don't know, but fingers crossed.
