2E Dilgar

Not sure if I like that, kinda liked it as the one beam ship in the fleet and it was a great anti-fighter escort for the targraths, with a lot of firepower for a little skirmish ship. Well just have to wait and see.

Bloody waiting game...

I don't know... I always found the laser a bit of an oddity... useful at times, but an oddity nonetheless ;)

What I'm most hopeful about are the warships. All other priority's were always lots of fun, and the 'meh' war choices were... well... meh ;)
But I don't have to worry about those cause apparently they almost rival an apocalypse priority ship in raw firepower :D

Like the Dilgar, this thread can rise from the dead :D

I think we can safely assume the Dilgar are stronger than they were in Armageddon. More Ships/Variants, upgunned hulls, viable war choices...

Some hulls are (still) bad choices as pointed out by CZuschlag. Let's hope things are not that bad.

I just read S&P48 and was curious about the new jump point mechanics... Will keeping assault ships in reserves be viable, thereby negating their very slow speed? Have a scout on the table, jump them out of hyperspace in the neighbourhood of the enemy fleet (the back  ) and start pummeling all the fragile ships into oblivion. You could even surprise a Minbari player that way.

Could this work?

Some other thing I'd like to know... Just HOW much are the war hulls improved? Right now I'm thinking of the amount of firepower of a bin'tak but faster and with less damage/crew. Any hints?
