I'm a bit confused (it happens...) about hull configurations.
It says on p192 of 2300AD that all the hull types from Traveller are available.
Distributed, Standard and Streamlined. I presume that the Standard hull is an unstreamlined hull in 2300AD? And the streamlined hull effectively becomes a standard hull?
Does a hull need to be streamlined before you add the mods for Airframe hulls?
It also states that a Hybrid Lifting Body is the most expensive but according to the Airframe Hull Type on 2300AD page 192 it appears not to be the case.
Hulls under 800 tons appear to have a weird pricing system but for intermediate hulls I presume it is a straight arithmetic difference between the lower or the higher? For example, would a 250 ton hull would be exactly half way between a 200 and 300 ton hull price? My Maths side says it should be logarithmic but this would be a tad more complex.
Elucidation appreciated.
