Hello Richard and gang, i sPent most of saturday on my Jet combat rules, but afrer reading cold war commander last night and this morning had new ideas, you thoughts please on these units

RULES FOR THE ABOVE

1. JUST LIKE NORMAL EVO COMBAT, BUT REMOVE "TOUGHNESS " FROM ALL UNITS..

2. NO MODS TO AR WEAPON ROLL AS WE SPEAK

3. ALL UNITS CAN BE SUPPRESSED, EVEN TANKS, DO YOU WANT TO MOVE TOWARDS ANTI-TANKS POSTIONS..?

4. YOU CAN REACTION WHEN BEING SHOT AT OR WITH REACTION RANGE ALL THE TIME, BUT YOU MUST MAKE A REACTION ROLL FIRST..



NOTES..

LOOKING AT THE STARTING RULES, YOU SEE THAT ANY UNIT CAN BE SUPPRESSED ON THE BATTLEFIELD, TO SLOW DOWN TANKS YOU USE ANTI-TANK WEAPONS OR AIR SUPPORT, MINES AS WELL...

INFANTRY GET SUPPRESSED THE MOST, OF COURSE..!!!!

"NEW REACTION RULES "

WHY..?

WELL, THE CHAOS OF THE BATTLEFIELD, REACTIONS IS ABOUT SPOTTING THE ENEMY MOVENT OF FIRING AT YOU, SOME UNITS REACT BADLY LIKE TANKS, AS THEY CANNOT SEE MUCH, TO INFANTRY WHO CAN REACT MUCH BETTER, " NOTHING BEATS THE MK1 EYEBALL "

THIS WAY WHEN TANKS MOVE INTO CITYS OR HEDGE ROWS ( WW2 ), YOU NEED INFANTRY, SO THEY CAN REACT ( SPOT ) ANTI TANK TEAMS, OR AMBUSHES..

"I THINK THAT MAKES SENSE "

AS FOR SPECIAL FORCES, AS YOU SEE THE SAS, SHOULD NEVER GET SURPPRESSED WITH THEY TRAINING, AND LIGHTING FAST REACTIONS, IN RETURNING FIRE, OR MOVING ACROSS THE BATTLEFIELD..

USING THE ABOVE IDEAS, YOU CAN ADD MANY UNITS, INFANTRY COMES WITH MANY TYPES, BE IT HIGHER TRAINED BRITISH ( REACT ), TO THE POORLY TRAINED AND ARMED MEA, WHICH CAN HAVE A MIX OF REACT OR SURPRESS BASED ON TYPES - IE/

CIVILIAN TROOPS - SUPPRESS 3+ REACT 6+
MEA SQUAD - SUPPRESS 3+ REACT 5+
FEDAYEEN SQUAD - SUPPRESS 6+ REACT 5+
 
you might want to maybe have the sas squad as trained spotters for arty as well...
