hey guys, long time no see, but heres my view SST is a great system in its current form, all the new rules ive seen take away from its flavor, mainly the leader rule, i play MI, i want my men to use the chain of command, when they loose it, it creates new situations and you have to adapt...

i saw these models, got intrested then i saw the price tag, if i wanted minis painting id rather spend less on the minis and id get comission work, id much rather get them plain unassembled grey/ pewter

ive kept my negativity to myself, i dont like the idea of prepainted tho, but im not going to say a thing till i have a demo game, the system is what counts, but i honestly cant see myself buying any new releases barring the rules

so i havent checked the mongoose site for a while and havnt played SST for a while (been demoing hordes and WM recently, just getting ready to start on SST again) i check the mpongoose site to see some new stuff, and theres nothing there, infact theres less, the ships, the forth, where are they...

i get very disapointed when i can say the earlier sst stuff is better than the newer stuff with a few exceptions (overseer :lol: )

only question ive got is what would UK prices be? id probably go for two depending it sounds like £40 for 2 and £30 for one, is that right?

CAPs, mainly because you can give them marauders aswell, plus i love the plastic CAPs, so much variety

i do hate that its assumed if you play wargames you cant get girls, or even have a social life, the other week i popped into my LGS, had a game, and went on a pub crawl with my mates, who dont play, but dont care that i do

my first piece is up, im going to be doing a few with these characters, just thought id get the ball rolling

ive got to say the standard cap troopers are my favorite for sheer versitility, plus the fact you can add heavy armour in the shape of marauders fast, cost efficent heavilly armed, well equiped, whats not to like?! and just to say i added exosuit platoons just in case people already prefered...

all i wanna know is if thiere plastic or not (same about the sprites and the wasps really)

I think Vor is the only system that could really get away with that much customisation, i think its a bit too far ahead to be thinking about however, if we did see a new army/faction, id love humans not part of the federation, (i want SST space pirates!)

when i thought up the name wolves, i diddnt think "ferocious" i thought cool, i think im gonna go with wraiths, they keep out of reach and are fast, thats more my tactics (im not normally an aggressive player unless its warmachine) thanks though guys, youve got me thinking about what i wanted...
