I'm very interested in picking up the new edition of Conan. I see that there will be an updated Road of Kings sourcebook. Having enjoyed reading AtTR and Pirate Isles a few years ago, should I pick those up or will all of the 1st edition sourcebooks eventually get updated like Return to the Road...

After reading the thread about scholars and tricked out lairs, I'm looking for a good trap resource. I recall there were some in the early 80's, but can't place the names. Anyway, ya'll know of any good trap sourcebooks?

I'm a little confused why everyone seems to go through all this trouble iwth NPCs. I mean they only really need about 4 stats. HPs, DR, Attack Value, and Damage. Those 'core four' have direct results on the PCs actions, most of the others are all just for fluff. Heck, I throw out NPCs all...

I see there's three versions of the Lankhmar supplement put out by TSR. any of you old school players have a clue as to which one's the best? The first two look to just be 1st ed and 2nd ed sourcebooks. The third looks to be a campaign world type box set. So which one to get?
