YEah but AFAIK the book isn't in stores yet, so even if my FLGS was B&M involved I couldn't buy it and get the pdf LBH

You don't need to ship back your 1stedition printed one, the photo of you holding it will get you a DTRPG code for a free updated pdf, and you keep your original printed one. At least that's what happened when I sent in my photo. LBH
