Sorry I didn't get to make the demo that morning. I was really looking forward to it, but the Con got the better of me as it was my first time there. Dragon*Con is the best convention I've ever been to hands down. I seriously can't wait for next year. Anyway, I hope it went well.

Sure it does. The Kurgan fleet is the first fleet with multi-role fighter craft and I'm sure we'll see more in the future.

katadder, how did the carrier fare? Was it's Gremlin Gun able to fire a lot? How did the ship feel compare to the others? I haven't tried the carrier in a normal battle yet, but it's an excellent idea.. Thank you all for posting the results! More play by plays would be awesome :) :) I...

The painting article was fantastic too. They covered the whole Hawkwood fleet in great detail. It really helped with my highlighting skills I think.

Yeah, I hear ya both; growing up we drove from the middle of PA to the bottom of Florida every year because my dad was obsessed with the Keys. Tho it did prepare me for driving from Houston to LA, lol :) Outside? I think I've heard tale of this "outside". They say there isn't AC out there...

Yeah... I like the paint job for what it is, but not for the Voldrok themselves. I think I'll go with a theme of ice and cold.

I think I'm going to get translucent/glow in the dark sculpey from the craft store and fashion it into a ball.. then pin it in the center of the cage area and TRY to sculpt energy lines along the pins to the receivers. I'm terrible at this "art" thing, but I'm learning. Haha..

It isn't the only ships they have, it's just the only ships in their fleet list atm. From the destroyer section: So, these three ships alone will be able to give the rest of the fleets a run for their money. If they included any others the fleet would be overpowered. I guess this does...
