yes yes I was skeptical at first ... watching in horror as they cut the binding off my beloved FoW rulebook then with much glee ran screaming from the Kinkos singing the praises of my new spiral bound tome of knowledge, and for only 4-5 bucks :D
one vehicle does not bring it out of skirmish mode, its when you have the community trying to play "30,000" point games pushing out to large scale, which isnt a bad thing but better left to personal preference
Thats the problem, you have to go back to before time beganinto the History Channel archives to get to a point where France had a viable military. But trying to pull our topic away from political sluggery... FL would be cool models as would Japanese Defense Forces. If they expanded out into...
Definitly upcoming units, playtests and tactics. Also gameplay variations, like using 5 sas fig and 10 terrorist in a urban board doing a Rainbow Six or Counter Strike type game. One off games like that with respawning and stuff is really good for demos and tourney play.. keeps things fresh
I like a nice spiral bound main rulebook with laminated reference sheets for armies or special rules. the spiral binding lays flat and pages dont get dorked up
I like the larger 28-30mm scale wish it was 1/35, 15mm is good for Company size with support but where this is Skirmish level Plt level and lower the bigger size gives the figures a bit of presence, especially when you go to mod them
Im glad they went more towards the current end of technology, I cant really think of a good modern combat game but I can think of a buttload of future games
My decision is easy I will collect all four starters that way I can team up my US and Brits Coalition style and start rompin and a stompin. I would def like to see small unit especially Anti terrorist ie GSG9 for some tabletop versions of Rainbow Six ... Woot Woot bring it onnnnn
