    Hated opponents

RN JKN's are very hard to hit and if they get close, they pack one heck of a torpedo punch! I try to play RN as often as I can!

    Two different versions of OOB?

Most of the errata and updates are about stat tweaks. When you think how many ships and aircraft are detailed in OOB there are bound to be a few errors. I've bought it and I've been playing it. The games good, VaS and OO, but it does feel as though the game has been light on thorough testing...

    Sumner and Gearing Class DD's

I think 1:6000 would be a bit lost at a convention - I'd plump for 1:3000 Navwar ships - robust and cheap and easy to see what they are. I got a five point RAID RN fleet for less than a fiver.

    General Questions

Personally I have no wargaming training what so ever and I don't intend to start school anytime soon. I'm learning by experience and having fun all the way. As for discipline, well, I did spend a couple of hours painting Flower class corvettes last night. And I promise not to buy any more lead...

    Civ ships in OOB

OK, so 'ship' is the new word for 'point'... What was the 'ship' of that change?

    Civ ships in OOB

In VaS you get civilian ship points - tramps are worth one point, liberties two and Victories three. In Oob it's changed to each ship being worth 'ships'. So a liner is worth four Civilian 'ships'. So if it's Victories you're replacing a liner is worth 12 points and if it's tramps it's worth...

    Civ ships in OOB

Reading the Civilian ship section in OOB, it states that each of the new ships no longer cost allocation points, but replace 'ships'. Does anyone know what the reasons behind this are and how it actually works?? Do you have to select your allocation points worth of ships from the original VaS...

    VaS - Splitting allocation points

Inthe section on splitting allocation point, OOB states: "This will allow players to use a SINGLE Fleet Allocation Point to buy ships of different levels rather than of one Priority Level only." There are two interpretations of this statement: 1 - You can only split one point per fleet, no...
