Wraith Recon

I believe that Wraith Recon is planned to see the light of day using RuneQuest II rules. I see this as a great opportunity and have couple of questions.

1) How capable Wraith Recon characters are straight from character creation? Matt said that Deus Vult characters are pretty tough customers so it would indicate that this setting could follow the same lines in that aspect. I really hope so :)

2) Races of the setting. I believe that at least some of the races in WR were picked up straight from D&D 4. So, in addition to pretty generic elves and dwarves there were quite a bit of more exotic races that had pretty central role in the setting (like being a king of one country, IIRC). So, will the D&D 4 races be replaced by something other exotic or will the setting be "human only"? Or something between? Personally I would prefer either human only setting or at most with pretty few more "main stream" non-human races (like elves).

So, can anyone shed any light on this one?

What races were there in the original WR setting? I think RQ handles just fine the basic D&D races like dragonborn, dwarf, elf, human, halfling and tiefling (broos with their background changed).

I can't remember them at the top of my head but I think that all of the D&D 4 (first PHB) races were included.

I'm not saying that RQ can't handle those races I just feel like there might be some legal problems using some of those races with a product that is not affiliated with D&D. I could be wrong, though.

The basic premise is cool but personally I could live without non-humans but I suppose that would change the background of the game beyond recognition. Either way, it would be cool.
