Would this be too much?

I need to know if anyone thinks this is a bit much?I have a 4th level Scholar(Priest of Set) with a Border and 8 stygian infantry people.The party is made up of 3rd barbarian,3 thief,1/1 Scholar/Border,1/1 Noble/Soldier 3rd soldier.I have plans for the Scholar to make his getways with the help of devels blue flame(I think thats what it is called) with the border in toe with a female noble woman(Virgin sacrificre for later).

So basically, you have:

8 Stygian soldiers, a scholar and a borderer taking on 5 PCs.

You want the scholar and the borderer to get away with one of the PCs - a female noble/soldier.

Anymore info on the spell? I can't find it in the scrolls of skelos or the main rulebook.

Well the Scholar has these spells right now:Conjuring,lesser ill-fortune,telekinese,raise corpse,and Ill-fortune.The Noble is NPC female that one of the Pc's is looking for.

I think it sounds good. If the Scholar plays his hand right and knows how to set it up to ambush the characters yet without you killing the party I think it would work fine. That's my opinion and I go by the rule of "If it makes a good game, use it."

Well I am glad that I have inspired you .I have big plans for the Scholar(Belak) is his name.I am planing on him to be a very big thorn in the Pc's side for he has a Relic of a tribe that is from a time long ago and is searching for some of the alantean/Lemur scrolls.Main reason for the virgin sacrifice.The plan is for the soldiers to fight and give Him and is scout time to leave via a secret passage way back to the surface.They are in an old citadel where he is researching some information on another tomb of some sort.
