World Design Forms

Hi All,

Ive just picked up Mongoose Traveller and i have to say it really is great - back to the good old days in my opinion.

I'm looking for a World Design form that i can print out and use - is there such a thing yet for this version ? Anyone know where i can find one ?

Hi Dargurd!

Don't believe there is a blank world map form yet like in CT Supplement 12 Forms and Charts (IS Form 8 ) - but I recently made my own (minus text and the connecting lines between the triangles for the polar regions, just because I had my own needs - but that is super easy for me to add). There are several floating around, but none I found match the simplicity (or quality) of CT.

I can make it any size (digest/letter/legal/A?) or orientation and with any number of hex widths per side from 2 on (original had 7 hex widths per side of the 20 equilateral triangles). Sorry these are PDF format only - as they are programmed not 'drawn'.

I can easily add text blocks and other simple elements and move it around or size it for other pages...

(Whew - editing this post took almost as long as coding these geodesic map grids :wink

You are quite Welcome - thanks for the reply!

These are very plain - but easily modified (well, by me). If you would like them in a particular size, orientation or in a particular place on a page - let me know (state inches/cm/mm, - I use 1/72, 1/300 and inches normally - but can convert whatever). I can also add lines (curves), boxes, fills, color and text (I actually removed the color from these for you) - it just might be harder for you to tell me exactly what you would like. The hardest part for me (most time) is actually uploading them and BBCode editing these posts - here's another so I can get some practice



P.S. - I touched up the edges and the equator line of the ones I posted earlier - the same links with take you to these new ones.

I really like the one from Steve Jackson, all that wonderful detail to add. I hope there will be an official pdf release like that for Mong Trav with fill in Forms would rock bigtime. Use the editable PDF to put in the world details print it out and draw the world in the Hex section, i think would be super handy for any GM wish I had any talent in that matter.
