Looking at the list of featured troops there does seem to be a lack of basic grunt type infantry for the Germans

Or for that matter 'Hiwis'

Reason I am wondering is that I was thinking of writing up a 'Pegasus Bridge' Scenario for S+P, well and for my own amusement.

Nope:
With the Grenadier list you can field basic
- Grenadiers
- Panzergrenadiers
and even
- Volksgrenadiers.

It is all in the rulebook! 8)

Ah well not seen the rulebook yet

Just I tend to think of Grenadiers as being the better troops as opposed to 'Stomach' battalions, 'Festung' troops and reluctant Poles

I particularly liked the story of one US para who came down in front of a pillbox, he lay there expecting to be shot, only to hear an altercation from inside followed by gunshots.
It transpired the Polish privates had decided that they were going to surrender and when the German NCO objected they shot him!
