Another question comes to mind about the maintenance cost... the rulebook states

1/12 of 0.1% of ship’s purchase price/
month

A ship needs maintenance, which costs 0.1% (1/1000 th ) of the total cost of the ship per year and requires a shipyard.

The ship's purchase price is the total cost when new, right?
I see not much sense on decreasing the maintenance cost the more ship shares you have...

Total cost when new plus any add ons or modifications afterwards, like adding weapons to empty turrets, seams to make sense.
