Why aren't there any Upcoming Releases for Conan?

What irks me is the no response from Mongoose about any of our questions. Go on the other Mongoose forums and questions are regularly answered. Here, we rarely get a response and on Rulemasters forget it. Not sure why that is. :|
Mongoose is very secretive about its projects.

They announce book releases and most see indeed the daylight but I guess they don't like to speak about it until it's baked hot on their table.

Unlike Chaosium... :D

I submitted a few Conan RPG and a few Slaine RPG articles for S&P mid-to-late last year, and hope to see them soon. :D 8)

*ahem! Hint, hint!* :)

King,

I'm glad to see your alive and doing well.

To answer your question, yes I did a very large adventure/campaign that took in much of southern Turan and Vendhya. I also found it interesting that Mongoose doesn't have anything new slated for quite some time. However things are coming out, just don't ask me when. Even I have no clue.

I was on Target.com the other day in the book section looking at new releases when I came across an entry for a future release for Mongoose Publishing. It was called 'To Save A Kingdom', by Vincent Darlage. Now the interesting part is that my Vendhyan adventure was called 'To Save A Kingdom' and Vincent had nothing to do with it. Needless to say I was very mad at my friend for stealing my work.

Right before I was going to bring down the 'hammer' on Vincent, he confessed that he had no clue what I was talking about. Sometimes Mongoose, Target or some other company makes a mistake when it comes to who get's credit for what. Needless to say I was just glad that it was coming out this year even though I had no clue the date.

Oh well, stuff is coming it will just be a little wait. I am also hoping for something new in the next S&P. I will admit that game companies that put popular product lines on hold for months are only asking for finanacial pains in the future.

I heard about this title on Amazon too. Concerning the author I am not sure how it is presented to the distributors but I understand your feeling as the original writer.
I am curious however to sse that Mongoose don't even tell you when your work will get published.

By the way, the cancelled campaign (the boxed set which should have been released last year or even 2 years ago) is still on scheduled on Amazon.

Never trust anything you see on Amazon - about half the Mongoose listings there are completely wrong, the rest are just partially wrong.

As for the lack of Mongoose presence on this forum - well, most of the writers will only respond to questions on books they've worked on personally, and as Vincent's been handling the bulk of the Conan line lately, there's been little scope for input by Mongoose staff writers.

I ordered the first Conan books on amazon but they can't stand up the updates.

I don't complain about lack of presence of Mongosse deputies, but more because we hear several announcements and then nothing until the thing is almost released. It's a bit distressing.
