You must then decide what level of information you want your Spy to find against the relevant chart.
D6 Strategic Target Information
6 Will learn if there is at least1 Target, plus what type it is (Settled, Dead, etc)
5 Will learn exactly how many Targets there are, and detailed description of 1 random.
4 Will learn everything about the Targets (eg Outpost, Mining, planet size, RR etc)

dont see the point in this table to be honest, as you roll infront of the other players when you move into a system its quiet easy for the other players to take notes when you roll for your targets

and how often do you remember what other players have?

So thats how you been grabbing all the juicy system :D

As i asked for input, at the mo the Spy's rules are just not quiet right.

Think the Scout Fleet is more or less about there.

OK i stuck for some ideas for a Galatic event chart :?

Trying for a 3D6 chart with 1 event for every roll possible.

So far got these:-

Swarm Fleet:
Hyperspace Eddies:
Galactic Plague:
Galactic Peace:
Commerce Raiding:
Restricted Communication:
Elixir of Life:
Mr.Adams:
Compensation:
Spirit of Cooperation:
Telepath Colony:
Roam the Stars:

Babylon 5 War Council: (still working on this one)

Anyone got more ideas???

even just a title can give me some ideas!

How about

Unexpected Supernova

Extradimensional interferance

Ghosts from the past

Collapse of trading markets (reduction in RR)

Crusade

Extradimensional interferance: now that one i like, Third space here i come

Ghosts from the past: like but no idea what to do with :(

Collapse of trading markets (reduction in RR) :) a lot of the events give and take away R&R already still like though.

Thought of another just before replying to this one.

Na'Ka'Leen Feeder's: reduction in CQ for a turn or something like!

Ideas for Ghosts from the Past

NON ISD specfic campaign - an unknown Eldar/ Ancient race resurfaces and lays claim to a system for unknown reasons - or attempts to take it - travels through etc

ISD Specific

Dilgar remnants have rebuilt and are out for vengance, or in need of protection or have been lost in time

A forgotten Shadow Ship is found - just needs a CPU

I'll send you my sub plot for Pauls camapign in case of interest / use............

How about combining the Strategic Target and Planetary Defence chart

D6 Strategic Target and Planetary Defence Information
6 Will learn what Worlds there are here and if there are any Emplacements, Troops and Satellites.
5 Will learn number of Emplacements and Satellites but not types.
4 Will learn number of Emplacements, Troops, Satellites and types.

i sure do, i expect you to recite word for word every post!! its your page after all :P :D :P

to be honest though i think either one would work well, would be best i thing to keep the number of tables down, less flicking through the rules when you want to exicute an order.

So new career map making!!!!

For me it is my current career. Now I get to try an make it a hobby too. Ho-hum...

Ive just seen a copy of Silvereye's first go at a B5 galaxy map based of my hex map.

And all i can say is WOW i am completly lost for words!

If silvereye will let me i'll put the PDF up for download, but at present it still pretty rough and not finished but still....WOW!

Been trying to work out a variable point system for the campaign system got this so far

Each player starts with one fleet at 4FAP at Battle, which may be increased in size up to 8FAP at Battle. At which point it maybe split into 2 separate fleets each to the values of 4FAP.
Each player may have up to 4 fleets at anyone time, each of which may not exceed 8FAP at Battle, but may be less than 4FAP from suffering casualties, but no more than 4 fleets!
Each new fleet created, must start at 4 FAP at Battle!

These Fleets move constantly through Hyperspace and are rarely deployed as a single massive fighting force, instead they send in small numbers of ships to fight skirmish battles.

All games played are considered to be Raid level.

Both Players (if more than two Players are playing nominate two Players to roll for point allocation) roll 1D6 each and add them together, and see what you get upon the Random FA Points Chart. This is the number of Raid points you will be playing with from your Fleet.
2D6 FAP
2 3
3-4 4
5-6 5
7-8 6
9 7
10 8
11 9
12 10

If any Player has more Fleets than you (you being either the defending Player or the outnumbered Player) will get an additional +1 to your Fleet allocation for every Fleet that out numbers your (ie if you have 1 Fleet and your opponent has 3 you get +2).

NOTE: The bonus is per Fleet not just to one fleet.

Players that are in an Alliance count as one Player when calculating Fleet totals for bonuses.

When there are more than two Players fighting on the battlefield, you count the Player with the most Fleets as the highest Fleet on the battlefield, they will gain no bonus. Every other Player marks their bonus against theirs (remember Players in an Alliance count as one Player).

I don't mind you posting it, but like I said in the PM its a very, very rough draft. Think more of an attempt to see if it was possible, and what kind of 'space' would be needed. Just label it V0.1 or something. You'll also likely need to add copyright disclaimers.

The bonus is people would be able to critique it and offer suggestions.

If it is posted, I should point out that it prints at A5 (I cropped out all the spare space), so you'll have to force your pdf reader to fit it to paper size.
