Since I'm not doing any LAMI, a slave army has some appeal to me. Of course, I'll still need to see the book before investing any money into another army. :D
 
I plan on the General, but the Tyrant and Warchief interest me as well.

Matt, Will there be a sample download of the book available anytime soon?

Nope. The studio that owns the rights to SST vetoed that one. Something to the effect of "it's been done many times before."

Ok, now that I think about it, I think their right. Squirrels are kinda lame though. Although Mongoose could probably make even that a cool army! :lol:
 
You know what would be a really cool army. Space Lizards! :lol: Seriously though whatever Mongoose comes up with i'm sure it will be original and very cool.

Yep. Space Lizards are win man. They would have a camo ablility like the mantis hunter does or something. Hurra!
 
If you want cool and in depth ideas for alien races, ask Mr Evil, he should be a game designer at mongoose or something, tons of creative races and plus, who else do you know who has designed a race and then had it stolen by GW? :wink:

One joint idea we had was lizardlike centuars, basically each one is a huge model and would make a very different style of play than any other SST army (basically everything is bigger than a warrior bug but smaller than a tanker so you have a lot of power)
